TaReQ's in Animeland: OVA

A powerful earthquake struck off the coast of northeastern Japan at 2:46 p.m. on 11 March 2011, Friday, and a series of aftershocks have since followed. The Japan Meteorological Agency reported that the initial earthquake measured 8.8 on the Richter scale, while the U.S. Geographical Survey listed the earthquake's magnitude at 8.9. Tsunami waves have already hit Miyagi and other northeastern prefectures, and tsunami warnings have been issued for much of the Pacific Rim.

As the quake and tsunami has affected Japan, some events, animes and mangas will also be delayed.. I looked up in ANN and found a list of delayed animes and mangas due to the tragedy..

Re: Cutie Honey is a three-episode OVA (original video animation) series based on the 2004 tokusatsu (live-action) film Cutie Honey. The series was co-produced with Gainax and Toei Animation, directed by Hideaki Anno, and shown on the Animax satellite television network in 2004. The first episode aired on July 24, two months after the live-action film was released.[1] DVD releases for each episode followed, with the first released on September 21.[2] The series tells the same story as the film, but contains nudity and additional character development.[3]
